Storing
A hat that you wear regularly deserves a generous space on the hat shelf of your wardrobe. A special hat stand that spares the brim of your hat and perfectly supports its shape, can be purchased from Hoeden M/V.

A moth-free summer
In order to store a felt hat during the summer, you can best place it in a spacious plastic bag, which will maintain the shape of the hat. You first fill the inside of the hat with blotting paper. You subsequently securely close the plastic bag. In order to prevent discolouration through ultraviolet rays, we recommend that you store the plastic bag in a hatbox or in another dark area.

Overwintering
A straw hat can be stored in a similar manner. In order to prevent the straw from drying out, it is recommended that before closing the plastic bag, you blow into it in order to optimize its humidity and bulbous properties.

Stains
Makeup stains on the corded ribbon on the inside of the hat can best be removed with a benzine-moistened corner of a clean cloth. For other stains we recommend that you first contact us.
